Terms and Conditions

Welcome to CutCue (the "App"), provided by Cardinal Clicks. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the App and the services provided through it. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.


2. Services Provided

CutCue allows users to:

  • Book barber appointments.
  • View barber profiles, services, and availability.
  • Pay for services through the App.
  • Receive notifications and reminders about appointments.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App or its services at any time without notice.


3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.


4. Booking and Payments

4.1 Transaction Fees

For every transaction made through the App using a payment method other than the App Wallet, the following fees will apply:

  • A payment gateway transaction fee of 1.5% of the total amount plus 20 pence.
  • An additional booking fee of 50 pence per transaction.

These fees are applied to cover the costs associated with processing payments and facilitating bookings. Both fees are non-refundable.

4.2 Waiver of Fees for App Wallet Payments

If a customer pays for services using funds available in their App Wallet, the transaction fee (1.5% + 20 pence) and the booking fee (50 pence) will be waived. No additional charges will apply to transactions made through the App Wallet.

4.3 Payment Authorization

By using the App to make a payment, you authorize us to charge the total amount, including applicable fees (if paying outside the App Wallet), to your selected payment method. You agree to ensure that sufficient funds are available to complete the transaction.

4.4 Refunds

In the event of a refund:

  • If the payment was made using the App Wallet, the refund will be credited back to the App Wallet.
  • If the payment was made using another payment method, the transaction fee (1.5% + 20 pence) and the booking fee (50 pence) are non-refundable. Only the principal amount paid for the service will be refunded, subject to the barber's or service provider's refund policy.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

5.1 Cancellation and Rescheduling

Customers may cancel or reschedule their appointments up to 12 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 12 hours of the appointment may be subject to penalties, as determined by the barber or service provider.

5.2 Refunds for Cancellations

If an appointment is cancelled more than 12 hours in advance, the total amount paid (excluding the 1.5% + 20 pence transaction fee and the 50 pence booking fee) will be refunded to the customer's App Wallet. The transaction fee and booking fee are non-refundable.

5.3 Late Cancellations and No-Shows

Cancellations made within 12 hours of the appointment or failure to attend the appointment ("no-show") may result in the customer being charged the full amount of the service, as determined by the barber or service provider. Refunds will not be issued for late cancellations or no-shows.

5.4 App Wallet

Refunds for eligible cancellations will be credited to the customer's App Wallet. Funds in the App Wallet can be used for future bookings or services within the App. Withdrawal of funds from the App Wallet to a bank account or other payment method is not permitted.


6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or barbers.
  • Upload or share content that is offensive, defamatory, or violates any third-party rights.
  • Interfere with the operation of the App or its services.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.


8. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification

8.1 Limitation of Liability

CutCue acts solely as a platform to connect users with barbers and does not provide barbering services directly. The App is not responsible for:

  • The quality, safety, or legality of services provided by barbers.
  • Any disputes, damages, or injuries arising from services rendered by barbers.
  • The accuracy of information provided by barbers, including pricing, availability, or qualifications.

8.2 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CutCue, Cardinal Clicks, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the App.
  • Services rendered by barbers or third parties.
  • Your violation of these Terms or any applicable laws.

8.3 No Warranty

The App and its services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied. CutCue does not guarantee the suitability, reliability, or quality of any barber or service provider.


9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms.


10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.


11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from your use of the App will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
